Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani has been admitted to Apollo Hospital, as reported. According to hospital sources, his condition is “stable,” and he is being kept under observation. The specific reason for his hospitalization has not been disclosed.
BJP spokesperson K Krishna Sagar Rao shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), offering prayers for Advani’s swift and full recovery: “I pray for a good, healthy recovery for our tallest leader, Shri LK Advani as he is admitted into Apollo Hospital, Delhi.”
Born on November 8, 1927, in Karachi, Advani started his political career by joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1942. A prominent architect of the BJP’s growth, he served as its longest-serving National President.
In the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government, he held the positions of Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
