Gurugram: A cab driver allegedly molested a pedestrian when she objected to rash driving on Tuesday night. The rear view mirror hit the woman and they had a heated argument after. According to the police report, the woman a resident of DLF and was returning home when all of this took place at 9:30 PM.

“The cab was being driven very rashly when it hit me. When I objected to rash driving he stopped the car and came out in anger. Then he molested me and insulted me. I got scared, and immediately called police,” the woman alleged in her complaint to the police.” the woman allegedly said in her complaint to the police.
The police reached on the spot after receiving a call from her and nabbed the accused. An FIR was registered against the driver under sections 279 (rash driving), 376 (act endager life of others), 354 (molestation), 509 (insult the modesty of woman) of IPC.

“We seized the cab that belongs to a private company. The driver, a resident of Shahajahanpur, Rajasthan, was produced in a city court from where he was granted bail,” said ASI Jaswant Singh.
