Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh delivered a power-packed performance in Kolkata on Saturday as part of his much-anticipated Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. While the evening was marked by electrifying music and a high-energy crowd, it was Diljit’s heartfelt tribute to Shah Rukh Khan and his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), that became the highlight of the night.
Diljit, known for his vibrant stage presence, paused mid-performance to acknowledge Kolkata’s deep connection with cricket and the iconic tagline of KKR—“Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re.” Addressing the audience, he called the slogan “a powerful mantra for hard work and teamwork.”
Diljit later shared a video of his performance and speech on social media, which soon caught the attention of Shah Rukh Khan himself. The Bollywood superstar, fondly called the “King of Bollywood,” responded with a warm message on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

The Kolkata concert was part of Diljit’s ‘Dil-Luminati Tour 2024’, which began its India leg in New Delhi in October. The tour will continue in other cities, including Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14, and Guwahati on December 29.
