FACT CHECKED: Anti-terrorism drill video from Germany shared as gun attack in Amsterdam

A video is making rounds on social media in which a masked man can be seen firing gunshots while cops can be seen coming for the rescue. It has been claimed that the video is of a gun attack at a shopping Mall in Amsterdam.

The caption with the read: “Gun attack at shopping Mall at Amsterdam, Holland this morning. World changes”.

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and we found that the claims attached to the video are FAKE.

On putting the keyframes of the video through a Reverse Image Search, we found that the video is actually of a counter-terrorism drill in Germany’s Nuremberg. We came across a news article dated October 16th, 2019 on Russia Today or RT.

The article featured the same video which was originally posted on the official YouTube channel of Ruptly on October 15th, 2019 titled: Germany: Nuremberg train station shuts down for massive anti-terror exercise

Hence, the above information proves that the claims attached to the video are FAKE.
