After Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan received a threat from a woman and man riding a bike on September 19. The Bandra Police, with the help of the CCTV visuals, identified the two and traced the two-wheeler.
During the investigation, the two revealed that they acted out of sheer mischief, with no ulterior motive.
“We didn’t find any evidence linking the accused to the Bishnoi gang. They committed the crime purely for mischief and fun before escaping,” said Zone 9 DCP Rajtilak Roushan to the media.
It seems the duo came to Bandra’s Carter Road, saw Salim Khan, and decided to play a prank on the 88-year-old screenwriter. The woman said, “Shall I send Lawrence Bishnoi?” before fleeing.
