Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, has fully integrated with Air India, also owned by Tata Group. This merger consolidates the two carriers under one umbrella.

Anubhav Goyal was lucky to take one of the last flight on its final day of operation. He said, Grateful to have experienced @airvistara on its final day of operations—a brand that truly delivered on its promise of ‘a new feeling’ in travel. Vistara is one of the few brands which overlapped brand promise with brand delivery so seamlessly.”

He added, “Their attention to detail proved that business is more than cost-cutting & short-term revenue but about building a brand that people want to keep engaging with.
Interestingly, travelers often dressed up more while travelling Vistara given the elevated in-flight experience.”
Goyal even added that the crew was nostalgic, and during landing in a true Vistara way- the airline played Kal Ho Na Ho. “The crew was nostalgic during in-flight announcements and in true Vistara fashion played Kal Ho Na Ho upon landing! This brand deserves to live on through case studies and employee accounts.”
Lastly, Goyal hoped that Air India would continue the legacy the team created. “Hey @airindia, we hope you continue the legacy that your team has themselves created. We have high hopes!”
Romit Sen also thanked Vistara for the travel memories. In his post, he wrote, ” Last day of flying @airvistara . Thank you for some wonderful travel memories over the past several years. @airindia hope u live up to the #Vistara experience!!!
