The Indian cricket team is set to tour Bangladesh for a much-anticipated white-ball series beginning August 17, featuring three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), as announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
India will arrive in Dhaka on August 13, ahead of the ODI leg of the tour. The first two ODIs will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on August 17 and 20, while the third and final ODI shifts to Chattogram on August 23.
Chattogram will also host the opening T20I on August 26, marking a historic moment as Bangladesh prepares to host India for a T20I series on home soil for the first time ever. The T20I action will then return to Mirpur for the final two games on August 29 and 31.
This tour adds another chapter to what has become an increasingly competitive rivalry. India dominated the last T20I series between the two sides at home in 2024, sweeping Bangladesh 3-0. However, the last ODI series in 2022 saw Bangladesh clinch a memorable 2-1 victory on their own turf.
