Indian Cricketer Rinku Singh Gets Engaged To Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj

Date:

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party’s Member of Parliament, Priya Saroj, got engaged in a grand ceremony held in Lucknow on Sunday. The intimate yet star-studded event at Fulcurn Hall brought together prominent faces from both the cricketing world and political corridors.

The engagement venue was adorned with lavish floral decorations and vibrant lighting, creating a festive and elegant ambiance. Rinku and Priya, dressed in coordinated white and pink ensembles, made a glowing appearance, their beaming smiles capturing the joy of the occasion. The couple exchanged rings in the presence of family, friends, and high-profile guests, with glimpses of their special moment going viral on social media.

Rinku Singh, 26, has carved a name for himself as one of India’s rising T20 stars and is a fan-favourite in the IPL, known for his clutch performances with the Kolkata Knight Riders. His engagement marks a personal milestone amid his growing stature in Indian cricket.

His fiancée, Priya Saroj, aged just 25, created history earlier this year by becoming one of the youngest MPs in the country. Representing the Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh, Priya made a significant political debut by defeating BJP candidate BP Saroj with a margin of over 35,000 votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Priya, daughter of veteran politician Tufani Saroj, holds a law degree from Amity University, Noida, and has previously practiced at the Supreme Court of India.
