Indian-origin real estate developer and film producer Anita Lallian recently purchased the Los Angeles home of the late Matthew Perry for $8.55 million. The Pacific Palisades property, a stunning 3,500-square-foot midcentury modern residence built in 1965, boasts four bedrooms, a wine storage area, and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
Before moving in, Lallian and her family conducted a traditional Hindu ‘puja,’ a ceremony aimed at blessing the home with positive energy. In a heartfelt social media post, she described the ritual as a meaningful way to honor Perry’s memory and begin her family’s new chapter with a foundation rooted in cultural values.
Lallian emphasized the importance of bringing good energy into their new space and expressed her admiration for the home’s unique features. One distinctive touch that Lallian plans to preserve is the Batman logo in the pool—a whimsical detail that reflects Perry’s love for the character. Lallian noted that the choice to keep elements like this was a nod to Perry’s legacy, remarking that she wanted to “honor the positive spirit and joy he brought to others.”

Though Perry’s fame as Chandler Bing drew widespread attention to the property, Lallian explained that her decision to buy it was based on her love for the home itself—its serene ocean views, timeless architecture, and thoughtful design were what truly captivated her.
Matthew Perry, who had a profound impact on millions as the sarcastic and endearing Chandler, passed away at 54. His death was attributed to an accidental drowning, compounded by the presence of ketamine, as per official reports.
