A tragic road accident in Memphis claimed the life of 26-year-old Indian student Naga Sri Vandana Parimala and left two others injured late Friday night. The collision occurred shortly after midnight, involving two vehicles. Authorities have suggested that the crash may have been caused by one of the vehicles failing to stop.
Naga Sri Vandana, a native of Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, had been pursuing a Master’s degree in Science at the University of Memphis. She was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
Two other students involved in the crash, identified as Pavan and Nikith, were also hospitalized. While Nikith’s condition is stable, Pavan remains critical and under close medical observation.
