Lead actor of Sons of Anarchy dies at 47

The lead star of ‘Sons of Anarchy’, Alan O’Neill died at 47 early Wednesday evening in the hallway of his girlfriend’s apartment in Los Angeles.

According to reports, the actor had a history of alcohol and drug abuse.

Alan starred as Hugh in the season six and seven of the series and was apparently suffering from heart issues and was a chain smoker.

Although there is no official reason for the death reported, there will be an autopsy conducted on his body.

Prior to the series, Neill made his debut in acting with the movie ‘Ballyseedy’ followed by ‘Rebel Heart’ in 2001. He was also seen in the Irish soap ‘My Fair City’ and the crime drama series ‘Inspector George Gently’.

Before Alan O’Neill, actor Johnny Lewis who also acted in ‘Sons of Anarchy’ died at the age of 28 by falling off the roof of a building in Los Angeles after killing his landlady.
