However, less than two months after her triumph, some internet users have shifted their tone, mocking Manu for what they perceive as her ‘obsession’ with her Olympic success. Responding to the criticism, Manu took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to address the backlash. She wrote, “The two bronze medals I won at the Paris 2024 Olympics belong to India. Whenever I am invited for any event and asked to show these medals, I do it with pride. This is my way of sharing my beautiful journey.”
