Missing comedian Siddharth Sagar: I was admitted to the mental asylum


Comedian Siddharth Sagar, who was reported ‘missing’, opened up about being mentally harassed in an interview with a leading entertainment portal.

In the interview, Siddharth Sagar made a shocking revelation that he was admitted to a mental asylum and that an unknown girl was allegedly giving him medicines which was making him lose his mind.

While speaking up about being admitted to a mental asylum, he reportedly said he saw how patients in the asylum were being given shock treatment and that he was starting to get depressed.

Sidharth said that despite his pleas, no one came forward to help him then.

Siddharth Anand added that no one knows about his location, but the people he is with currently have helped him overcome the trauma.

After reports of Siddharth Sagar being absconding spread like wildfire, the comedian took to Instagram to break his silence. In the video, he accused his family members of mentally harassing him and said that he will share details of his alleged ordeal soon.

Reports emerged that Siddharth Sagar, who is known for his on-screen roles like Selfie Mausi and Naseer, was allegedly missing since November. News of the comedian reportedly going missing came to light after Somi Saxena, who claims to be a close friend of Siddharth, wrote a post on Facebook stating that he has been missing since November 18, 2017 and urged people to help her find him.

Siddharth Sagar has reportedly worked in many comedy TV shows like ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan’ and ‘Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe’. Siddharth courted controversy in 2016 when he got involved in a slapgate saga. Siddharth reportedly slapped stand-up comedian Bharti Singh too hard on the sets of ‘Comedy Nights Live’ while performing their sketch. This allegedly resulted in him being asked to quit the show by the production house.
