Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the project is a creature comedy inspired by Indian folklore. It had earlier been announced as part of a major slate, with plans for a theatrical release followed by a digital premiere.
The film features Kartik Aaryan in the role of an icchadhari naag, a shapeshifting serpent, with his character named Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand. A previously released poster hinted at the film’s tone, showcasing the actor alongside a towering serpent figure.
Produced under Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, the project involves multiple producers, including Karan Johar.
With the revised release timeline now confirmed, the film will skip its earlier festive window and instead aim for a 2027 theatrical debut.
