The series, created by Mindy Kaling, depicts the complicated life of Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an Indian American teenager who tries to revive her life after losing her father. Her character in the series is a competitive and high-headed high schooler, who wants to change her nerdy image by dating the hottest guy in school, played by Darren Barnet.
The first season ended with Devi kissing her former enemy and academic competitor Ben, which paves her way to get Paxton attracted towards her.
While they are yet to release a trailer for the upcoming season, Netflix has put many first-look pictures from the upcoming season, one of which shows Devi sitting between Ben Gross, the former enemy turned lover and Paxton- Hall Yoshida, her first crush and the hottest guy in the school.
The season will have newcomers featuring Megan Suri, Tyler Avleraz, Utkasrh Ambudkar and PJ Byrne. The new drama is about to happen in Devi’s life, while she navigates her romantic relationship and deals with the drama.
