A picture of a notice issued by Bulandshahr Police is doing the rounds on social media according to which people have been punished for feeding migrant labourers.

Through our investigation, we found that the circular in question is real but it has been shared with a misleading claim.
We searched on the web with the relevant keywords and found a video on Twitter by Bulandshahr Police, which clarified, that the notice was issued to an individual accused of flouting social distancing norms in place due to COVID-19.

In the video Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Bulandshahr, Santosh Kumar Singh, is stating that the notice had been issued to Guddu Pandit for gathering migrant labourers at his house with promises of providing food and refreshments. This was done against the provided lockdown guidelines and all social distancing rules were broken.
Hence, the above information proves that the circular in question is being shared with a misleading claim.
