A woman who is in her fourth month of pregnancy was raped by three men at her home while she was alone and waiting for her husband to come back from work. The men barged into the woman’s home and took turns to rape her.
The woman’s husband when came back to home found his wife unconscious. “A case of gangrape was registered. The woman told us that one of the culprits is a local man called Kuldip Singh. She didn’t know the other two,” said Laxminarayan Meena, Commissioner of Asansol Durgapur Police.

The woman gave a confidential statement to the police and her medical tests confirmed that she was raped.
