Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have withdrawn their children, Archie and Lilibet, from a school in Britain after just two days, reportedly due to concerns about the security arrangements for their daily school journey.
The children, aged seven and five, had recently started at the prep school following the Sussex family’s return to Britain after six years in the United States.
They are now expected to attend another school nearby.
According to sources quoted by reports spokesperson for the couple said the decision was made after discussions with the family’s security team.
“The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements,” the spokesperson told HELLO! Magazine.
The spokesperson added that the parents remained thankful to the school staff and said the move was not a reflection of the care provided.
Reports said heavy traffic made it difficult for the Sussex security convoy to stay together during the school run. The children reportedly enjoyed the school, but security concerns led to the change.
The children are expected to begin at another school after attending a taster session on Monday. Harry and Meghan’s security arrangements in Britain are also reportedly under review.
