“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Catherine shared in the video.
“Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she said.
The Princess of Wales also noted her eagerness to gradually return to her royal duties. She plans to undertake a light schedule of public appearances for the remainder of the year, with one of her expected engagements being a ceremony at the Cenotaph monument in November, honoring those who lost their lives in war. The event is one of the most solemn on the royal family’s annual calendar.
While Kensington Palace has not disclosed the specifics of Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, her candid message resonated with many, offering a glimpse of her resilience and determination during this difficult chapter.
