Indian badminton star and two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu has announced her engagement to Venkata Datta Sai in an intimate ceremony. The couple, who have been in a relationship for some time, will tie the knot in a grand wedding on December 22 in Udaipur.
Sindhu shared the news with her followers on social media, posting a beautiful photo from the engagement ceremony featuring a “Miss to Mrs” sign. Along with the photo, she shared a quote by Kahlil Gibran: ““When love beckons to you, follow him, for love gives naught but itself.”

Sindhu’s engagement comes shortly after she ended a significant title drought by winning the Syed Modi International badminton tournament in Lucknow. Her victory was especially sweet as it marked her first major title in over two years, rekindling her strong form on the international circuit.
Venkata Datta Sai, who is based in Hyderabad, works as the executive director at Posidex Technologies. Wedding celebrations are set to begin on December 20, and Sindhu’s fans are eagerly awaiting the couple’s big day later this month.
