Rajkummar Rao, Keerthy Suresh’s ‘Raftaar’ Gets Release Date

Date:

Amazon MGM Studios has officially announced its next theatrical venture, Raftaar, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh in their first onscreen collaboration. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 24, 2026. Directed by debutant Aditya Nimbalkar, the project is produced by Patralekhaa under the Kampa Film banner.

The narrative explores the high-stakes environment of a rapidly growing start-up, focusing on the intersection of corporate ambition and personal relationships. According to the studio’s briefing, the plot follows two driven individuals as their bond is tested by the pressures of wealth and the competitive nature of the modern education industry. The film is positioned as a character-driven drama that tracks the volatile rise and fall of its protagonists.

The production features an ensemble supporting cast including Tanya Maniktala, Rajat Kapoor, Anurag Thakur, and Rohan Verma. Rohan Narula is credited with the story and screenplay. The musical score involves a collaboration between Sachet-Parampara and Achint Thakkar, with lyrics contributed by Irshad Kamil and Varun Grover.

For Keerthy Suresh, Raftaar represents a significant step into Hindi cinema following her role in Baby John. The announcement confirms that while Amazon MGM Studios is backing the project, the primary release strategy remains focused on a traditional theatrical window before moving to digital platforms.
