Dubai: All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was recognized for his outstanding fielding performance in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand, earning the Best Fielder of the Match medal. The medal was presented by India’s fielding coach T. Dilip after a thrilling title clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Jadeja’s sharp reflexes and agility on the field played a crucial role in India’s victory, with skipper Rohit Sharma also being nominated for the award.

Led by a commanding performance from Rohit Sharma, India secured their third ICC Champions Trophy, defeating New Zealand by four wickets in a tense encounter.
Rohit led from the front with a swift half-century, scoring 76 off 83 balls, including seven boundaries and three sixes. His knock provided India with a solid foundation in the chase.
Middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer also contributed significantly, while the spin duo of Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav kept the Kiwi batters in check with their economical and wicket-taking spells.
For his match-winning innings, Rohit Sharma was awarded the Player of the Match. His composed and aggressive batting ensured India successfully chased down the target to clinch the coveted ICC trophy.
