The British rock band Coldplay is considered to be one of the most successful bands of all time, with more than 300 awards to its name, over nine billion streams of its songs – and more than 100 million albums sold across the world.
Coldplay is returning to India after nine years in January 2025 as the Grammy-winning band will bring their Music Of The Spheres World Tour to Mumbai. The band is holding two major shows that are scheduled for January 18 and 19, 2025, at the D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium.
The British rock band added a third show later to the Mumbai leg citing “phenomenal demand”, hours after fans expressed disappointment over long virtual queues on the online ticket platform BookMyShow.

Coldplay consists of four main members, but Phil Harvey, 47, their creative director and manager, is often seen as the fifth member. Although he doesn’t perform on stage, Harvey’s relationship with Coldplay goes back to the late 90s and he has been with the band from their early days.

3. Guy Berryman: Berryman, 46, met his fellow band mates at university while studying engineering and architecture. Apart from being the bassist of the band, Guy Berryman, also owns a men’s fashion label Applied Art Forms. The brand draws inspiration from utilitarian, military, and workwear styles. His net worth is estimated at $100 million.
4. Chris Martin: The lead singer, Chris Martin who has also been called “the most popular man in showbiz” by British media, is the richest member of the band with an estimated net worth of $160 million. The 47-year-old co-founded the group in 1996, but back then it was called Pectoralz. The group was renamed Starfish in 1997, then eventually renamed to Coldplay. Known for his distinctive voice and emotive songwriting, Martin has played a crucial role in the band’s success.
