Bollywood actor Salman Khan has shared a new photograph from his upcoming film Maatrubhumi, adding to the growing excitement around the project.

The actor posted a scenic image on Instagram showing himself seated alone in a lush green field surrounded by misty hills. Keeping the caption brief, Salman wrote, “MAATRUBHUMI.”
The film, earlier titled Battle of Galwan, was later renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. It is reportedly inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
The project recently made headlines after reports claimed that the Central Board of Film Certification had withheld its certification. However, Salman Khan Films denied those claims, calling them “false” and clarifying that the film had not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification.
Salman’s latest social media post has further increased anticipation for the film. Although no new details about the release were announced, the striking image quickly received thousands of likes and comments, with fans praising the actor’s look and the picturesque backdrop.
