The Mumbai Police have filed a case following the threat, with investigations already underway. According to the police, the threat was received on Sunday, and it was reportedly sent by an anonymous individual who claimed they would storm Salman Khan’s home and use explosives on his vehicle. This ominous message was flagged by the Worli Transport Department’s official WhatsApp account, leading to a swift response from the police.
DCP Datta Kamble confirmed that a case has been registered under sections of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and the investigation is ongoing to track down those responsible.
This latest threat is not the first time Salman Khan has faced such harassment. In November of the previous year, the actor received another death threat linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message, sent to Mumbai’s traffic control room, issued a chilling ultimatum to the actor: either apologize at the gang’s temple or pay a ransom of Rs 5 crore to guarantee his safety.
