Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly paid the highest tax amongst all the Indian celebrities in 2024. The actor paid a whopping Rs 92 core as tax surpassing Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Virat Kohli.
According to a report, while Shah Rukh Khan paid taxes worth Rs 92 Cr, Tamil actor Vijay took the second spot. The actor, who is foraying into his political career, paid taxes worth Rs 80 Cr, making him the only Tamil star on the list. The top five Indian celebrities include Salman, who paid taxes worth Rs 75 Cr, Amitabh Bachchan, who paid Rs 71 Cr, and Virat Kohli, who paid Rs 66 Cr in taxes.
Ajay Devgn is at the sixth spot as he paid a total tax of ₹42 crore. MS Dhoni, in the seventh spot, paid a tax of ₹38 crore, Ranbir Kapoor, in 8th spot, made a tax payment of ₹36 crore. Both Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar paid ₹28 crore as tax.
Few other celebrities who made it to the top 20 list of taxpayers include, Kapil Sharma (Rs 26 crore), Sourav Ganguly ( Rs 23 crore), Kareena Kapoor ( Rs 20 crore), Shahid Kapoor ( Rs 14 crore), Hardik Pandya ( Rs 13 crore), and Kiara Advani ( Rs 12 crore). Both Mohanlal and Allu Arjun paid ₹14 crore as tax. Pankaj Tripathi and Katrina Kaif paid Rs 11 crore tax each this year.
