Mumbai: Even though Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t meet the massive crowd gathered outside his Bandra residence, Mannat, on Sunday, the superstar ensured his fans still had a reason to celebrate. The actor attended a special birthday event organised in his honour at the Bal Gandharv Rang Mandir, where he was greeted with thunderous cheers and chants of his name.
The atmosphere was electric as fans showered SRK with love, waving posters, and singing birthday songs. The actor, visibly moved by the affection, took to social media later to share a short video from the celebration. The clip showed him smiling, filming the jubilant crowd, and soaking in the energy of the moment.
Expressing gratitude, Shah Rukh wrote, “Thank you for making my birthday special as always. Full of gratitude… and those of you I couldn’t meet, I will see you soon. In the theatres and at the next birthday. Love u.”

Earlier in the day, SRK had informed fans that the customary balcony appearance at Mannat—a yearly ritual where he greets thousands gathered outside his home—had to be cancelled this year due to safety and crowd management concerns.
Despite that, the actor’s heartfelt message and his surprise appearance at the Bandra event ensured that the celebrations carried on in true Shah Rukh Khan style—warm, grand, and filled with love.
