Apart from its compelling storyline and stellar performances, the film also left an indelible mark with its memorable musical compositions, including Roopkumar Rathod and Sonu Nigam’s soul-stirring song ‘Sandese Aate Hai’.
Meanwhile, riding high on the success of ‘Gadar 2’, Sunny Deol is gearing up for his next project, ‘Lahore 1947’, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Karan Deol, the film, produced by Aamir Khan, is slated for a Republic Day release next year.
