Famous Bollywood playback singer Mohammed Aziz of ‘My name is Lakhan’ fame died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 64, on Tuesday.
Aziz’s daughter, Sana, while speaking to ANI confirmed the death of his father while saying that her father had a “blockage in his heart, and he collapsed at the domestic terminal at Mumbai airport today afternoon.”
PRO of Nanavati Hospital, in an official statement, said that Aziz was declared ‘brought dead’ by the hospital authority.

“For the last few months, he had been doing shows in Bengal, and in the Northeastern region. It was in Kolkata airport when he started feeling uneasy and wanted to come back home,” said Sana.
The cremation ceremony will be done at Kandivali West, Mumbai.
Apart from ‘My name is Lakhan’, the ardent fan of Mohammed Rafi also lent his voice to songs like ‘Ek Raja Hai Ek Rani Hai’ from 2001 movie ‘Ek Rishtaa’ and ‘Kaise Kate Din’ from 1991 movie ‘Swarg’ starring Juhi Chawla.
