After a quirky, out of the box announcement teaser, the makers of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ unveiled the film’s trailer on Thursday. The movie also brings back legendary Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi with his iconic track “Na Na Na Re” and features Mallika Sherawat and Vijay Raaz in key roles. The film has been directed by Raaj Shandilyaa, who is known for his previous hit, ‘Dream Girl’. The film is a collaborative effort with producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl.
The trailer promises some hilarious twists and turns throughout the film! RajKummar wants to make ‘lifelong memories’ with wife Triptii on their first night; but things get out of hand when their ‘suhagraat CD’ gets stolen and the looters demands a ransom of Rs 2 lakh.

Tiku Talsania, well-known for his comic timing is also part of the ensemble cast.
The release date for the film’s trailer was announced by Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao on Wednesday through a unique teaser. In the goofy video, Rajkummar and Triptii are shown as 90s-era newsreaders on an old television set. Both are shown wearing glasses and making the film’s announcement in a fun way. The teaser was released with the caption: “1997 ke mukhya samachar… dekho sabke saath… padosi ho ya Pariwar… #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo Teaser out now! In cinemas on 11th October.”

The teaser garnered positive reactions from various actors. Ayushmann Khurrana wrote with a chuckle “Bicky se Vicky tak,” while Kusha Kapila commented, “Hahahahhaha so cool (laughing emoji).” TSeries also joined the comment section saying ,” Yeh hui na announcement!”
