A relaxing Sunday for former President Donald Trump turned out to be a ‘deadly’ one when a gunman fired at the former US president at his Mar-a-Lago resort home in Florida.
This comes two months after the first attempt of assassination made in Pennsylvania on July 13.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation termed the Sunday attempt as “an attempted assassination of the former president”.
According to reports, the US Secret Service agents spotted and fired at a gunman pointing an AK-style rifle with a scope.
The suspect was identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, who fled the scene and has now been arrested by the officials.
