Mumbai: Yash Raj Films has announced the launch of Raah Records, a new music label and artist incubator focused on discovering, developing and supporting original talent beyond film music. The company’s first release under the label, “Jaadugari” by singer-songwriter Aman, will be available on major audio streaming platforms from August 5.
With this launch, YRF is expanding its presence in India’s independent music industry by providing artists with long-term creative and career support. The label has already been working with emerging musicians, with Aman becoming the first artist to begin his journey under the Raah Records banner.
Speaking on the launch, Akshaye Widhani said, “Raah Records represents an important strategic expansion of Yash Raj Films’ music business. For over five decades, we have believed in identifying exceptional talent and creating platforms where creativity can thrive.”
The label will be led by Nakul Sharma, who will oversee artist development, songwriting, production, creative direction and strategic partnerships. YRF also unveiled the first glimpse of “Jaadugari” ahead of its official release.
