New Delhi: Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has appealed to both the Centre and CJP protesters to resolve the ongoing education protest through dialogue. As demonstrations continue in Delhi, Yuvraj shared a message on social media, calling for a peaceful solution.
He wrote, “To every child, student, woman and man: you deserve the opportunity to learn in peace, grow with safety, and chase your dreams.”
He further added, “Your well-being is the foundation of a brighter India.”
Urging both sides to find common ground, Yuvraj said, “Let’s come together to build communities of care, opportunity and hope. Through dialogue we can find an amicable solution for the sake of India’s future.”
The appeal comes as protests over education reforms and the demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation continue at Jantar Mantar. Protesters have remained at the site despite heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, CJP has also requested activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike, saying his sacrifice has inspired students across the country and urging him to take care of his health.
