23 acclaimed films at EU Film Festival in P’cherry from Aug 22

Coimbatore, Aug 18 (PTI) Twenty three internationallyacclaimed films from European Union countries will be screenedat a three-day European Union Film Festival here from August22. The festival will be held as part of the 21stAnniversary of the European Union Film Festival, organisedacross 11 cities in India, which will conclude here. The films to be screened have either won reputedawards or have been nominated to prestigious competitions, apress release from Bharatiyar University, where the films arebeing screened, said. The festival has been organized by the Department ofCommunication and Media Studies in association with the IndoCine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF), Chennai.
