New Delhi: In a dramatic turn of events in Delhi, Chief Minister Atishi’s office has reported her eviction from the official residence, allegedly on the orders of Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena. The Public Works Department (PWD) sealed Atishi’s official residence on Wednesday, citing illegal usage of the property.
The situation intensified when Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva claimed that former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence, dubbed the ‘Sheesh Mahal,’ was sealed. He insinuated that the bungalow held numerous undisclosed secrets.

Last week, Arvind Kejriwal vacated the official Chief Minister’s residence following his resignation from the top post. He has since relocated to 5 Ferozeshah Road, a property currently allocated to AAP Member of Parliament Ashok Mittal. However, the Public Works Department (PWD) later issued a notice to Kejriwal, requesting the return of the keys to the former CM’s residence.
The PWD’s communication cited ongoing vigilance inquiries related to construction at the official bungalow, emphasizing the necessity to conduct a thorough inspection and inventory assessment before reallocation.
