A video, claiming the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a madrasa teacher for allegedly molesting a minor student, is doing the rounds on social media. The clip shows two policemen escorting a limping man, with posts asserting that he was being taken into custody for molestation inside a madrasa.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption:

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post and found the claims to be false.
However, a Reverse Image Search of the viral video reveals that the claim is false. The same footage has appeared in several social media posts from early November 2024, unrelated to any molestation case.

Searching with relevant keywords, we found reports from Muzaffarnagar in UP, identifying the arrested man as Raheez (60). According to multiple news outlets, including TV9, Zee News, Punjab Kesari, and Dainik Bhaskar, Raheez was arrested not for molestation but for defaming PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath on social media.

Police reports confirm that Raheez, a resident under the Budhana police station, had posted abusive remarks against the prime minister and chief minister on October 31, 2024. Following the post’s circulation online, a complaint was filed by a local resident named Shivakumar of Bhatwada, and Raheez was arrested on November 1.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show the arrest of a madrasa teacher for molesting a student, is false.
