FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post and found the claims to be false.
A Reverse Image Search of the viral video keyframes reveals a post from December 2023 featuring the same building shown in the footage. The post identified the location as Ankura Hospital in Hyderabad. Further verification through news reports confirmed this claim. According to a report by NDTV, a fire broke out at the hospital near Gudimalkapur in Hyderabad on December 23, 2023. Officials stated that the fire was caused by a short circuit in a flex boar. Importantly, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
As for the claims about Yemen’s Houthi rebels striking Israel, news reports confirm that the rebels did fire a missile towards Israel recently. However, Israeli authorities said the missile was intercepted before it could enter Israeli territory. The situation remains tense as the U.S. has also been conducting airstrikes on Houthi positions in response to Red Sea disruptions. On April 21, the Houthis claimed that a U.S. airstrike hit a detention centre for African migrants, killing at least 68 people and injuring 47 others.
Therefore, we can conclusively say that the viral post, claiming to show a Yemeni missile strike on the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv, is false.
