The Indian cricket team kicked off their preparations for the highly anticipated first Test against Bangladesh with a training session in Chennai on Friday. Star players Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant were all seen fine-tuning their skills ahead of the crucial match.

Captain Rohit Sharma had arrived in Chennai on Thursday, ready to lead the team, while Virat Kohli made his way directly from London to join his teammates for the opening match.
The first Test will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on September 19. The second match will begin on September 27 in Kanpur at the Green Park stadium.
This series marks an important step for Team India as they gear up for their upcoming home series against New Zealand, followed by the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, which includes a five-match Test series. India currently sits at the top of the World Test Championship table, holding 68.52 percentage points.
