“Innovation is wonderful,” she said. “Our nations benefit from advancements in technology—saving lives, expanding access to knowledge, connecting people, and of course, safety.”
Melania Trump emphasized the importance of equipping children to thrive at the intersection of education and technology.
“Great minds have turned marbles into microchips, paper airplanes into drones, and kites into satellites,” she said. “Remember, our next generation will use tech to revolutionize how we live, travel, design, and connect.”
The coalition’s first priorities will include advancing children’s personal development, unifying global efforts around education and technology, and working with private-sector partners to expand access to emerging tools such as artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain. Members will also share strategies for addressing both the benefits and risks of artificial intelligence.
Membership will consist of spouses or equivalent representatives of world leaders, with participating nations expected to implement the coalition’s programs locally. The first official meeting will be hosted at the White House in early 2026.
