In addition to that President Obama highlighted the unique political charisma that helped everyone possible. Obama insisted that, the four years Clinton served as his top diplomat as evidence of her tough-nosed grit. He also acknowledged that he became a loyal Clinton convert years ago, and that his 2008 Democratic primary fight against his friend is all in the past.
Obama released a video as the two jetted south on Air Force One for the event that focused on Clinton’s character. The president was quoted saying:
“Not only did she impress me during the campaign, but she frankly really impressed me in terms of how she handled the loss of that primary. She was a trooper,”
He said of their 2008 Democratic presidential race, which Obama won narrowly.
According to the report, while wrapping up his speech, Obama openly said
“Let me blunt,” he said. “Hillary’s got her share of critics.” But he chalked it up to her experience: “That’s what happens when you’re somebody who’s actually in the arena. That’s what happens when you fight for what you believe in.”
The report also said that, Obama addressed the people by advising at the last , that voters opt for an unproven quantity just because it’s new, a phenomenon he acknowledged boosted his credentials.. But people don’t apply that logic to judging airline pilots or surgeons, Obama argued, and they shouldn’t in the voting booth too.
