Iran launched a barrage of missile attacks on Israel, and the rising tension in the Middle East has forced many international airlines operating in the Gulf to adjust their flight routes to prioritise travellers’ safety.
According to media reports, altering routes has impacted services to Indian cities. Lufthansa’s flight from Frankfurt to Hyderabad and Mumbai turned back to Germany. Swiss and Air India have also altered the routes.
A few neighbouring countries have already closed their airspace.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday night, a shocking video emerged from a flight cockpit of a British Airways revealing Iranian missiles launched, the New York Post reported.
