Donald Trump Warns Iran Of Strike On Pickaxe Mountain If Nuclear Deal Fails

Date:

Washington, DC: US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could launch fresh strikes on Iran if ongoing nuclear negotiations do not lead to an agreement. Speaking to a News Agency, Trump said discussions with Iran have been positive but stressed that preventing Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon remains the central issue.

“We can be in the midst of a beautiful discussion, and they’ll come out and say … ‘we didn’t discuss nuclear,'” Trump told News Agency. “Well that’s all we discuss, because they’ll never have a nuclear weapon. They understand that. And we have had some very good talks.”

Trump also rejected reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had offered to share intelligence on Iran’s nuclear reconstruction, saying, “I don’t need Bibi to tell me that. Bibi is telling me that because he wants me to stay involved.”

Referring to Pickaxe Mountain, Trump said the US was closely monitoring the site and added, “We took out their nuclear sites, and we’ll have to take out Pickaxe if we don’t make a deal. If we don’t make a deal, we’ll take it out very easily.” He said he preferred a peaceful outcome but warned the US was prepared to “finish the job” if negotiations failed.
