A Florida-based beauty-tech startup, iPolish, has introduced digital, colour-changing press-on nails that allow users to switch shades whenever they want.
The innovation was showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where beauty technology shared the spotlight with cutting-edge gadgets. The smart acrylic nails work through a mobile app offering more than 400 colour options. Once a shade is selected, users place the nail under a compact device called the Magic Wand, which changes the colour within seconds.

Designed for flexibility, the colours can last from minutes to several days, depending on how often users want to refresh their look. The kit includes reusable press-on nails, adhesive, prep tools, a clear topcoat and the Magic Wand, with app access provided via QR code.
Priced at $95 (around Rs 8,700), the product is currently available for pre-order in two nail shapes, with replacement sets starting at a lower cost. The company claims the nails are non-toxic, cruelty-free and chemical-free, making them suitable for regular use.
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape fashion and beauty, iPolish’s launch signals a future where nail styles can change as effortlessly as outfit.
