Washington DC: Musician Nicki Minaj met Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Monday (local time), calling him her favourite President.
The meeting echoed lyrics from her 2009 song I Get Crazy, in which she said, “I be with the president up in the White House, if we in the Oval Office then the it’s lights out”.

In a post on X, Minaj wrote, “Whoa!!!! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!!!”
She referred to herself as “White House Barbie,” a nod to her fan base, known as the Barbz, who emulate her Barbie-inspired aesthetic of wigs, bright colours and gloss.
Responding to another post on X, Minaj wrote, “So crazy!!! No pun intended. And the next line literally said: “if we’re in the Oval Office, then it’s lights out”–which is another way of saying “game over”. And here we are in the Oval Office. Lol. Who knew? 17 years ago.”

According to Time magazine, Minaj’s shift from being an artist critical of Trump to one of his supporters surprised many.
Trump also rang the NYSE and NASDAQ opening bell from the Oval Office for the first time to mark the official launch of Trump Accounts.
So crazy!!! No pun intended. 😀

According to CNN, Minaj, once critical of Trump, has emerged as one of his most prominent celebrity supporters and is reportedly contributing hundreds of thousands of dollars to Trump Accounts.
On January 29, Minaj declared herself Trump’s “No 1 fan.”
Speaking at the “Trump Accounts Summit” in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, Minaj reiterated her support for the US President, saying he has been “bullied and smeared”.
“I don’t know what to say, but I will say that I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan. And that’s not going to change. And the hate, or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s gonna motivate all of us to support him more,” Minaj said at the summit, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.
