On Monday, Moroccan authorities arrested 10 members of a cell linked to the ISIL affiliate in the Sahel Province, preventing a planned attack. Investigators recovered bladed weapons, military-style clothing, bomb-making instructions, digital material, chemicals and a vehicle suspected of being modified for bombing or ramming attacks during raids carried out across several cities.
