Baby Groot will leave you awestruck in the trailer of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’

Date:

‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’ has shared its explosive new trailer, soundtracked by Sweet’s 1974 single “Fox on the Run.”

The trailer doesn’t dig into the sequel’s plot, instead opting to spotlight the Guardians’ hijinks and banter, including a long scene where Rocket Raccoon attempts to teach Baby Groot when to properly detonate a nuclear device.

Chris Pratt’s Star Lord, Zoe Saldana’s Gamora and Dave Bautista’s Drax the Destroyer are also shown taking part in some sort of intergalactic therapy session.

According to the report, director James Gunn said earlier that, the Marvel team is intentionally keeping its plot under wraps ahead of its May 5th, 2017 release.

The audience goes through every single little shot and tries to figure out what the movie’s about. And there’s a lot of mysteries in Guardians 2,” Gunn said.

“We were talking about how much to give away — and we’re not going to give away very much.”
