For a very long time, the biopic of Rakesh Sharma was in news due to the actors associated with it. According to previous reports, Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan was supposed to play the lead in this movie, but latest reports said that the actor suggested his nemesis, Shah Rukh Khan’s name for it.
Reports even suggest that SRK came on board on one condition, it is Aamir give him the research material he previously prepared.
A source told DNA, “King Khan has asked Aamir to help him out with the research he did for the film when he was supposed to do it. Knowing what a perfectionist Aamir is, he must have done detailed research and SRK will only benefit from that.”
Reportedly, Priyanka Chopra too was going to pick the film as her next Bollywood movie, till Aamir’s name was linked to the project. Since Shah Rukh Khan has become the lead for the biopic tentatively titled ‘Salute’ she might have opted out of the film and instead chosen to work with Salman Khan in ‘Bharat’.
