Sonakshi credits John for making her part of ‘Force 2’

Date:

Actress Sonakshi Sinha is thankful to her co-star John Abraham for considering her in their upcoming film “Force 2”.

In the upcoming action film, directed by Abhinay Deo, John reprises the character of ACP Yashvardhan from “Force” and Sonakshi, who is the new addition to the cast, plays a RAW agent.

“I was excited to get a chance to do action with him. On the day of shoot for ‘Force 2’, John saw ‘Akira’ and he liked the action that I had done in the film. He asked Abhinay Deo to incorporate me in the action sequences. I have taken this as a compliment,” Sonakshi told reporters here at the launch of song “Lal Rang” from “Force 2“.

The actress had some heavy-duty action scenes in her last release “Akira” and she said it was just coincidence that she got to do two back-to-back action films.

“I loved both the films and my role was fantastic. Both the films have different kind of action. There was no different treatment from action directors towards me. Hopefully things will get better for heroines to do action in films,” she said.

The 29-year-old-actress said that her role in “Akira” helped her do her action sequences in “Force 2”.

“There are some stylised and sleek action sequences. We have worked with great action directors. We have car chases, gun fights and hand-to-hand combat,” she said.
