New Delhi: The formal appointment of noted lawyer Uday U Lalit as Judge of the Supreme Court of India is likely to be made shortly.
According to earlier reports, it was said the Union government is not happy with his appointment and believed that the appointment should be cancelled. But the Supreme Court and the Central Bureau of Investigation had reiterated that they do not have any objection with the appointment of Lalit.
