Opposition parties accuse Modi government of U-turn on poll promises

New Delhi: Congress on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led ruling BJP government and said it took a U-turn on its polls promises made during general elections. Meanwhile, a leader of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Sitaram Yechury, said it was a good thing that other parties were realising double standards of the BJP.  However, a BJP leader Anurag Thakur said that Rahul Gandhi was just doing a drama.
